Mend-Along

Mend-Along

Samantha Comerford and Addison Nace

During the session we will discuss what each participant is mending and the techniques they are using in order to mendtheir pieces. We will ask that participants read the following article on mending during the pandemic prior to attendance and think of one question to bring tothe conversation! Questions may be in regard to whatever meaning of mending they feel is relevant, to the article, or to their lives. The hope is that this can allow for the sharing of tacit knowledge as well as creating a community that shares ideas. In order to host an open conversation, we do not plan to have slides or other presentation materials; instead, participants will turn on their cameras and enjoy one another's presence! We welcome non-makers to attend this session, perhaps in looking for other forms of mending oneself. For this reason, we welcome all participants bringing any and allmending materials (even if it is just you and a cup of tea!).

Limited to 20 participants.
