Cotton has been a sustainable fiber that has clothed India for a millennium. Malkha is an India-based project striving to bring dignity and livelihood to the men and women who grow, spin, weave, and dye home-grown, non-GMO cotton. Handloom activist and Malkha trustee, Annapurna Mamidipudi (Ph.D., Science and Technology Studies, Maastricht University) shares the Malkha vision and process from Hyderabad, India.
